Soundcraft Ui24R
MIXER24-channel Digital Mixer/USB Multi-Track Recorder with Wireless Control
Prices are per 24 hours of rental. Longer rentals, delivery and setup are quoted on request.
The Soundcraft Ui24R is a 24-channel rack mixer controlled from a tablet, phone or computer over Wi-Fi, with USB multitrack recording. We rent it to bands that do their own sound, and for weddings and corporate events where the mixer is to be hidden and the mix controlled from the floor. It has no physical faders; everything is done on screen.
The Ui24R connects directly to the PRX815 and SRX812P active speakers and to microphones and DI boxes. If you want real faders and a Dante network, choose the Yamaha DM3 or QL1. If you need fewer channels and simple effects, the Soundcraft Signature 10 analogue mixer is quicker. The Ui24R is a good choice when one person runs the sound from the stage.
What to consider when renting
The mixer needs a wall socket, XLR cables from the microphones and outputs to the speakers. Control needs your own tablet, phone or computer with a browser; the mixer has its own Wi-Fi, but in a crowded venue a wired router connection is more reliable. Bring a USB drive for recording. Test the connection before the event.
Best for
- Bands that mix themselves
- Weddings and corporate events
- Multitrack recording at rehearsals or concerts
- Mixing from the floor on a tablet
