Behringer Wing Rack + Dante
MIXERRackmount 24-Midas Pro Preamps, 48 Channel, 28 Bus Full Stereo Digital Mixing console
Prices are per 24 hours of rental. Longer rentals, delivery and setup are quoted on request.
The Behringer Wing Rack is a rack-format digital mixing console with 48 channels and 28 buses on Midas Pro preamps, in our kit together with the Dante card. We rent it as a monitor desk at festivals, as a touring rack for bands, and for theatres and broadcasts where a big console will not fit but many channels and buses are needed.
The desk is controlled from its touchscreen, a tablet or a computer. The Dante card lets you connect an SLXD4QDAN receiver or an RME Digiface Dante for recording. If you want physical faders and the Yamaha workflow, choose the QL1. If you need simplicity rather than channels, the Soundcraft Ui24R is cheaper. The Wing Rack gives the most buses from the smallest footprint.
What to consider when renting
The rack needs mains power, XLR cables into the inputs and cables out to speakers or amplifiers. For control, bring a tablet or computer and a network cable to a router; the Wi-Fi router is yours to provide. Dante needs a switch and a cable to the other Dante device. The session file can be prepared on a computer. The operator should know the Wing workflow.
Best for
- Monitor desk at a festival
- Touring rack for bands
- Theatres and broadcasts in tight spaces
- Dante system with many buses
