The Yamaha DM7 is a 120-input digital mixing console with a Dante network, the largest console we have. We rent it as the FOH or monitor desk for festivals and big concerts, for broadcasts and for multi-day conferences with dozens of inputs, many mixes and a need to save everything and recall it quickly. The console itself has 32 inputs and 16 outputs; the rest comes from RIO racks over Dante.

The DM7 usually goes out with a RIO3224-D2 stage rack and a Dante network, to which an SLXD4QDAN receiver or an RME Digiface Dante for recording can be added. With fewer than fifty inputs the QL1 is more compact and cheaper. For a small stage choose the DM3. The DM7 needs an operator who knows Yamaha consoles; our technician is available for that.

What to consider when renting

The console needs stable mains power, a Dante network cable to the stage rack and enough table space at FOH. Plan the input list and outputs in advance so the session file can be prepared before the event. The RIO3224-D2 stage rack and network switches are ordered separately. Transport and setup are handled with our technician.
