Is the speaker high enough on the pole?

On top of a sub with the pole, the speaker clears heads in a normal room. On a high stage or in a big hall, factor in the stage height as well.

The Speaker Pole is a distance pole that raises an active speaker on top of a subwoofer. One end screws into the sub's pole socket, the other end takes the speaker's stand socket. We rent one for every SRX818SP or SRX828SP subwoofer that carries an SRX812P, PRX815 or PRX812 on top.

The pole replaces a speaker stand and keeps the kit compact: the sub and the main speaker share one footprint. Without a subwoofer, use the Gravity TLS 431 B stand or the Speaker Stand. The pole is not used with a passive VTX system, where the elements are stacked with a frame.

What to consider when renting

Screw the pole fully into the sub's socket, lift the speaker onto the pole with two people and lock the height. Check that the sub stands on a level floor and does not rock. The speaker's XLR cable comes from the sub's output and is fixed to the pole so it does not pull.
