The VTX A8 AF is the array frame that JBL VTX A8 line array elements attach to when the hang is flown from truss or a ceiling. The frame carries the weight of the whole array and sets its tilt. An A8 hang cannot be flown without it, so one goes out with every flown A8 side.

Choose the frame when the hall or stage has rated rigging points and hoists. If flying is not possible, use the A8 BP base plate and stack the array on the floor or on B18 subwoofers. The frame can also be used to fly VTX B18 subs; we will work out the exact package with you.

What to consider when renting

Rigging points and hoists must be rated for the total weight of the hang and inspected. The frame attaches to the hoist with certified hardware, the array is assembled on the ground and lifted. Only people with rigging experience do this work; our technician comes with the system.
