The Shure SLXD4QDAN is the four-channel SLX-D receiver with a Dante output: four wireless channels in one rack unit and the signal straight onto the Dante network into a Yamaha DM3, QL1 or DM7. We rent it for conferences with several moderators, panel discussions, school and church halls and small productions where rack space and cabling have to stay minimal.

The receiver works with SLXD1 bodypacks and SLXD2 handhelds, which are added separately. It also has analogue outputs, so it works with an ordinary XLR desk too. QLX-D and Axient Digital transmitters do not work with an SLX-D receiver. If you do not need Dante and two channels are enough, the SLXD24D/B58 or SLXD14D is a simpler complete kit; the top-tier four-channel receiver is the AD4Q.

What to consider when renting

Add four transmitters (SLXD2/B58 handhelds or SLXD1 bodypacks with microphones), batteries, and a network cable to the Dante switch or XLR cables to the desk. The receiver scans and assigns frequencies to all four channels, and the transmitters sync by infrared. Dante routing is done in Dante Controller, for which we recommend a technician; the analogue outputs you can manage yourself.
