The Shure SLXD1 is the SLX-D series bodypack transmitter without a receiver. It is the add-on for an SLXD4D or SLXD4QDAN receiver when you need more bodypacks or a spare: for instance to fill the four channels of an SLXD4QDAN with headsets, or to put a bodypack in place of a handheld on an SLXD24D kit.

It needs an SLX-D receiver and a microphone with a TA4F connector, such as the Shure DH5T, MX153 or MX150. The complete kit with two bodypacks is the SLXD14D. The SLXD1 does not work with QLX-D or Axient Digital receivers. It takes two AA batteries or a Shure rechargeable.

What to consider when renting

Check that you have an SLX-D receiver and choose a microphone. Fit the batteries, sync the pack with a free receiver channel by infrared and set the gain at the soundcheck. If you have more packs than receiver channels, several packs can take turns on one channel, but only one at a time.
