Shure SBRC

The SBRC is Shure's rack-mount battery charger that charges several Shure rechargeable batteries at once, the ones used in our Axient Digital, QLX-D and SLX-D transmitters and PSM in-ear receivers. Each bay shows its own charge level, so a technician can see at a glance which batteries are ready. We rent it for multi-day conferences, theatre productions and festivals, where buying and swapping disposable batteries would become tedious and expensive.

The charger makes sense from about six wireless channels upwards, or whenever the event runs for several days. A rechargeable pack also gives the transmitter a more accurate remaining-time readout than disposable cells, which stage managers appreciate. For a small event with one or two mics, AA batteries, which our transmitters accept as well, are fine; tell us which route you prefer and we pack batteries and charger, or disposables.
