The Shure AD1 is the standard Axient Digital bodypack transmitter without ShowLink. It takes a headset, a lavalier or an instrument cable with a TA4F connector. We rent it to conference speakers, trainers, fitness instructors and musicians who need dependable top-tier wireless but can handle the pack themselves.

The AD1 needs an Axient Digital receiver, AD4D, AD4Q or ADX5D, and a microphone such as the Shure DH5T headset or MX150 lavalier. It runs on AA batteries or a Shure rechargeable. If you need remote control, take the ADX1. For a simpler event the Shure QLXD14 or SLXD14D is a complete bodypack system with receiver.

What to consider when renting

Order the receiver (AD4D or AD4Q) and the microphone separately. The pack runs on two AA batteries or a Shure rechargeable; tell us which you prefer. Sync by infrared in front of the receiver and set the gain in the pack menu during the soundcheck. Route the microphone cable under the clothing so it does not rub, and check the pack is not muted before going on stage.
