MicroStation-BT

The MicroStation-BT is a small desktop 2.1 monitor controller: it takes a stereo signal by cable or over Bluetooth and feeds it to two speakers and a subwoofer, with one volume knob. We rent it for places that need simple control of background music or video sound without a mixer: an exhibition stand, a gallery, a pop-up shop, a small presentation room or a waiting area where the audio comes from a phone or a computer.

The controller does not replace a mixing desk, because it has no microphone inputs. It works best in front of a pair of active speakers such as the JBL EON710 or PRX812, with an active JBL SRX818SP subwoofer if wanted, when the source is a phone, tablet or laptop. If the event has even one microphone, take the Soundcraft Notepad 12FX instead of the MicroStation-BT: it also has stereo inputs and adds microphone channels.
