K&M 252
STANDMicrophone stand, short/long
Prices are per 24 hours of rental. Longer rentals, delivery and setup are quoted on request.
The K&M 252 is a straight microphone stand without a boom, on a heavy round cast-iron base. Height adjusts from low up to a standing singer's mouth, hence short/long. It is rented most for conferences beside a lectern, for singers standing straight in front of the mic, and for presentations where the stand should look clean and take little space.
On a narrow stage or before a row of speakers, a round base beats a tripod: nobody trips over legs and stands sit close together. If the mic must reach over an instrument or tilt towards the singer, take the boom-equipped K&M 210/9. The K&M 260 is also a straight round-base stand; we confirm which is available with your order.
What to consider when renting
The stand consists of a base and a telescopic tube that screws into it; they travel separately. The base is heavy, lift it with both hands and keep it away from the stage edge. The mic clip comes with the microphone. The cable runs down the tube and under the base so it stays out of sight. Users set it up themselves.
Best for
