Yes, any flat and sturdy surface works. What matters is that the surface is level.

The Gravity LTS 01 B is an adjustable laptop and controller stand that raises a computer or a small DJ controller above the table surface. That leaves room on the table for the mixer and players and puts the screen at eye level. It is rented by DJs playing from a laptop and by performers using a laptop on stage.

The stand sits on a DJ table such as the Gravity FT 01 or KSX2RD and completes a setup that has both CDJs and a computer. If you also need table space for speakers, look at the Gravity FDJT 01 table, which has speaker trays built in. Without a table or another flat surface the stand has no purpose.

What to consider when renting

The stand assembles without tools and is placed on the table; height and tilt adjust to the computer. Check that the laptop's feet rest on the rubber pads and that cables do not pull it towards the edge. A flat table is required, it will not stand on a wobbly surface. Users set it up themselves.
